How To Set-Up My Local Library?

BRIO automatically looks for the Music folder to set up your local music library. In case your music files are located elsewhere, you'd need to tell BRIO where your music files are located (on local and external drives). The steps to do this are as follows:

1. Launch the BRIO desktop app to login

2. Go to LIBRARY >> click +

3. In the Library Setup dialog, click ADD (to show drive(s) available on your PC)

4. Select ADD A FOLDER or MOUNT NETWORK SHARE as appropriate. Select the drive(s) and locate your music folders' (path). Click ADD.

5. BRIO will now scan the selected folder paths and display your music library by ALBUMS, ARTISTS, GENRES and TRACKS (under LOCAL tab).

6. Under LIBRARY, click ALBUMS; select an album and click on track to start playback.

Audio formats supported in Local Library are FLAC, ALAC, WAV, AIFF, AAC, MP3 (16 bit/44.1 kHz and higher up to 24 bit/192 kHz) and DSD (1-bit DoP).

LOCATIONS >> Local Drives follow the folder-file structure found in Windows File Explorer.

Select the folder path, click folder; select an album (in folder) and click on track to start playback.

The LOCATIONS library view will also show audio folders/files in UPnP Storage Media and FTP-servers already mounted on your desktop PC.
